We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bakery Manager to lead our bakery team and ensure the highest standards of food quality and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining food safety standards. As the Bakery Manager, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and create an inviting atmosphere for our customers.
This would be a summer seasonal position at our Stanley bridge location. With the opportunity to stay on. Position starts in May and ends in October currently.
Duties
Supervise and coordinate daily bakery operations to ensure efficient workflow.
Train, mentor, and manage bakery staff to foster a positive team environment.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen.
Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring quality and consistency in all baked goods.
Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to meet production demands.
Interact with customers to provide exceptional service and address any inquiries or concerns.
Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new bakery staff.
Develop new recipes and product offerings to enhance the bakery's menI
Experience
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a bakery or food service environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Experience in food preparation techniques and kitchen management.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on creating a welcoming atmosphere for patrons.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
