Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service by welcoming guests and assisting them with their bakery selections. Prepare and display bakery items in an attractive manner to entice customers. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance sales while ensuring customer satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations. Assist in food preparation tasks, including baking, decorating, and packaging items as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Requirements

Previous experience in the food industry or a similar role is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Basic math skills for handling transactions and retail math applications. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with quick service or fast food restaurant operations is a plus. Familiarity with cashiering duties and point-of-sale (POS) systems. A passion for culinary arts and serving delicious baked goods.
