We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bakery Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while assisting with food preparation, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized bakery environment. Duties

Assist customers with their selections, providing knowledgeable recommendations and upselling bakery items. Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using the POS system, including Micros POS. Prepare and display bakery products according to food safety and sanitation standards. Maintain cleanliness in the bakery area, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and monitoring product freshness. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during busy periods.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Experience in food preparation and handling, with knowledge of food safety practices. Proficient in cashiering, including cash handling and basic math skills. Familiarity with restaurant or kitchen environments is preferred. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting while also being self-motivated.
