As a Bakery Assistant, you will support the daily operations of our bakery by assisting in food preparation, packaging, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and other items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food safety protocols are followed during food handling and preparation. Help with the decoration of cakes and pastries as needed, showcasing creativity and attention to detail. Package finished products for sale while maintaining high presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and answering questions about products. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely production of bakery items.

Experience

Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Basic knowledge of baking techniques and cake decorating is a plus. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$23.63 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
