Duties

Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair while adhering to customer specifications. Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency in quality. Assist with food preparation tasks including baking, mixing, and measuring ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, following food safety guidelines. Package finished products attractively for display or delivery. Provide exceptional customer service by interacting positively with customers and addressing their needs. Ensure compliance with food handling regulations and safety practices.

Qualifications

Proven experience in cake decorating and baking within a restaurant or food service environment. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Familiarity with food safety standards and practices is essential. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and creativity in decorating cakes and pastries. Previous experience in packaging food products is a plus.
