We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Cook /Baker to join our kitchen team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and pastry preparation, with a keen eye for detail, cleanliness and reliability. If you have a love for pastries, are an early riser and thrive in a collaborative atmosphere, we would love to hear from you.
The starting payment here is $21-$23 hour and depending on the candidates skill set, experience, higher pay is also on the table.

looking for
Most important- able to come early mornings as early as 4am - if you don't satisfy this requirement, please don't apply.
Experience in making pastries/cakes and
laminated doughs
Assist the team in various pastry preparations like cakes, cookies, fillings, croissant doughs and shaping the croissants.
Assist in the planning and creation of new menu items.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations.
You should be in Canada (British Columbia) and have valid work permit/visa.
Qualifications
Proven experience in baking and pastry preparation within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Strong skills in laminated doughs and pastries and cakes.
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
Excellent communication skills, (not just language) and the ability to work well within a team setting.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in baking is essential.
