Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Baker/Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a commitment to providing high-quality food in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness.

Friday/saturday/Sunday mornings for baking.

Possible to cross train as a Line cook/brunch shifts.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet customer demands. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment. Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and baking as needed. Decorate cakes and other desserts to enhance presentation. Package food items for service or takeout efficiently. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any special requests or dietary restrictions.

Requirements

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a focus on cooking and food preparation. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Mornings/early mornings Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required by the restaurant's schedule. A passion for the food industry and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes. Pay: $17.20-$19.00 per hour
