Job Summary

We are looking for someone to join our baking team. The preferred candidate will be responsible for producing a variety of breads, pastries, sandwiches, and pizzas while ensuring adherence to food safety standards and maintaining a clean kitchen environment.

This role is open for someone with limited experience or a veteran baker.

Sourdough experience is preferred but not necessary

Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods including bread, pastries, and cookies. Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation. Package finished products for display or sale, ensuring they meet quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their inquiries about products. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods.

Experience

Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations are mandatory. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers. A passion for baking and creating delicious products that bring joy to others is a must. Ability to lift heavy bags (up to 25kg) is mandatory
