Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and a strong commitment to food safety and quality. As a Baker, you will support the daily operations of our bakery, ensuring that products are prepared and presented to the highest standards. This role is perfect for individuals looking to grow their skills in the food industry while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and baking of various bakery items, including bread, pastries, and cakes. Package finished products for display and sale while ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations. Support cake decorating efforts by preparing ingredients and assisting with design as needed. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, answering questions, and assisting with orders. Follow all food handling guidelines to ensure the safety and quality of all baked goods. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain inventory levels.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a bakery or kitchen environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow recipes accurately. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Basic knowledge of bake decorating techniques is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
