Duties

Prepare and bake a variety of cakes, pastries, and other baked goods according to established recipes. Decorate cakes with artistic flair, ensuring presentation meets company standards. Assist with food preparation tasks, including measuring ingredients and mixing batter. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs. Handle food items safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with food handling regulations. Package finished products for sale, ensuring quality and presentation are upheld. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods.

Requirements

Proven experience in baking or cake decorating is highly desirable. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred, with a solid understanding of food preparation techniques. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patrons. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for the culinary arts and a desire to learn and grow within the food industry.
