Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and food preparation, with a keen eye for detail and creativity in cake decorating. As a Baker, you will be responsible for producing high-quality baked goods that meet our standards of excellence while ensuring food safety and hygiene practices are followed.

Duties

Prepare a variety of baked goods including breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies according to established recipes. Decorate cakes and other baked items with artistic flair to enhance presentation. Ensure all food handling and kitchen safety regulations are strictly adhered to during the baking process. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment. Package finished products for sale or distribution while ensuring quality control. Collaborate with team members to meet customer demands and maintain high levels of customer service. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of baking ingredients and supplies.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role within a restaurant or bakery setting. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling. Proficiency in cake decorating techniques is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers. A passion for baking and creativity in food preparation is essential.

Pay: $17.85-$20.83 per hour
