Summary

We are seeking a talented Baker to join our team at North Folk Cafe. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods that delight our customers and contribute to our cafe's warm atmosphere. Your passion for baking and commitment to quality will play a vital role in enhancing our offerings.

Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to recipes. Ensure all food items meet quality standards for taste and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area. Help with Afternoon Teas Adhere to food safety regulations and proper handling procedures. Collaborate with team members to create new menu items that reflect seasonal ingredients. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Proven experience as a baker or in a similar role within the food industry. Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients. Excellent teamwork skills. Positive and friendly. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment and independently with little supervision Familiarity with food safety standards and practices is essential. Creativity in cake decorating and presentation is highly desirable.

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. North Folk is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
