What will I be doing?

As a Baker with The Hilton Fallsview you will be responsible for preparing food items in accordance to recipes and established standards. The Corso Baker will assist all other Team Members with basic preparation of food items while adhering to quality standards. This Team Member will also adhere to the standards of the Executive Chef and use correct handling of all food products. The Baker is required to maintain their workspace, including counter tops, utensils, equipment in a clean and sanitary condition in accordance with company policy and Health and Safety standards.

We are looking for bakers who specialize in baking either Pastries or Bread.

Experience

Minimum 2 year experience in a Baker position, preferably with a specialty in making Pastries or Bread Food Handling Certificate is a requirement

Skills

Knowledgeable in safe handling practiced when using sharp knives, utensils, and hot plates. Ability to work well under pressure in a high-volume restaurant Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Ability to work well within a Team

Onboarding

Must be able to complete a Criminal Background Check to the hotel's satisfaction.
