Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate

Baker

to join our team and help prepare a variety of baked goods, including breads, pastries, cakes, and other desserts. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and has a love for baking. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, freshness, and consistency of all products, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and following health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and bake a variety of goods such as bread, pastries, cakes, cookies, and other baked items. Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes. Monitor baking process and adjust oven temperatures/timing as needed. Decorate and finish baked products (e.g. icing cakes, glazing pastries). Ensure high quality and presentation standards are met. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of baking equipment and work area. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies. Follow food safety standards and health regulations at all times. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to plan and innovate baked offerings.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a baker or similar role (minimum 1 year). Knowledge of baking techniques and ability to follow recipes accurately. Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment and ovens. Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Strong time management and organizational skills. Creativity and attention to detail. Culinary or baking certification is a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods. Lift up to 50 lbs (e.g. bags of flour, dough, trays). Comfortable working in a warm kitchen environment.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
