Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled baker/sandwich maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and food preparation, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality baked goods. As a member, you will play a crucial role in creating delicious products that delight our customers while adhering to food safety standards.

Duties

Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, sandwiches and other baked goods according to established recipes. Ensure all ingredients are measured accurately and prepared properly for each recipe. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, following all food safety protocols. Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and report any shortages or needs to management. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely production of baked items for service or retail.

Skills

Proficient in cooking and baking techniques with experience in the food industry. Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high standards of quality. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and customer interactions. Previous experience in a restaurant or bakery setting is preferred but not required.
