Duties

Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods, including breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies. Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation. Decorate cakes and other baked items with creativity and attention to detail. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen to adhere to food safety standards. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and fulfilling special orders as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation or as a cook in the food industry, preferably within a restaurant or bakery setting. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and handling procedures. Experience in cake decorating is highly desirable. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Excellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented mindset. A passion for baking and creating high-quality products. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings or weekends as needed.
