Founded in 2021, Progress Sport Inc. operates multiple badminton clubs and retail stores across Ontario, offering both in-store and online sales of leading racquet-sport brands such as Yonex, Li Ning, and Victor. We provide year-round facilities and professional training programs for badminton and pickleball players of all ages.
As our business continues to expand, we currently have seven locations across Ontario and a growing coaching team of nine professional coaches. We are now seeking
one additional experienced coach
to join our Scarborough-based team.
Position: Badminton & Pickleball Coach
Work Hours:
30 hours per week
Wage:
$37.50 per hour
Benefits:

What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate should:
Have
a minimum of 2-3 years of coaching experience
.
Hold a
Bachelor's degree or higher
(college diplomas are
not
accepted).
Demonstrate strong expertise in badminton techniques, rules, and coaching strategies across various skill levels.
Possess a solid understanding of pickleball fundamentals.
Be passionate about teaching and adaptable to different learner needs.
Communicate effectively and build positive relationships with players of all ages.
Motivate athletes and create supportive training environments.
Show strong organizational and time-management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Lead training sessions for players at different skill levels.
Provide individual and group coaching to improve techniques and tactical understanding.
Plan engaging practice sessions focusing on skills, fitness, and game strategy.
Track player progress and give constructive feedback.
Prepare players for competitions and tournaments.
Promote sportsmanship and team spirit.
Collaborate with other coaches to enhance program quality.
Build strong rapport with players, parents, and the broader sports community.
