Description

As a Backend .Net Developer, you will join our development team to develop and maintain web applications mainly in
C#
and
ASP .NET.

The Backend Developer contributes to all phases of the Application Development Lifecycle through the analysis, design, implementation, verification, and maintenance of software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

As part of the core development team, implement and maintain web applications in ASP.NET / C# (Razor Pages)

Develop and optimize RESTful APIs that handle large datasets;

Collaborate with Database Administrators to write high performance SQL code and to optimize existing code

Develop and maintain intranet applications that support in-house management of transactional data from the web and from other production systems

Collaborate with software developers, architects and product teams to deliver value through successful delivery of software solutions

Research and present ideas for new technologies, strategies, or processes

Qualifications and Experience

Experience working with Visual Studio, SQL Server, C#, .NET, MVC, Entity Framework, LINQ, Bootstrap and TFS/Git

Basic Knowledge of Frontend Frameworks (Angular/AngularJS, Blazor, Javascript)

Excellent understanding of HTTP fundamentals and developing RESTful API services (Asp .Net Web API, Windows Authentication)

Comfortable with large datasets, and experience with SQL Server and T-SQL

Good knowledge of the Structured Query Language (SQL)

Knowledge of NoSQL databases (Azure Cosmos DB, MongoDB, Firebase)

Experience with web and enterprise application development

Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

Very good knowledge of English due to documentation and communications with customers who are about 95% outside Quebec
