About our client and role: Our client is a SaaS/IT compnay whose mission is to create well designed APIs that enable businesses to automate and scale otherwise manual processes. They strive to ensure the security, reliability and scalability of their solutions. Currently we are looking for a talented Software Engineer for them to help create and build out a modern documentation, SDKs, and user assistance infrastructure. You will be a core part of the engineering team working closely with marketing and customer enablement to create resources that enable developers to use the platform quickly and easily. Customer performance is critical to [redacted] and the tools you will build will create a powerful impact on adoption. Responsibilities

• Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements
• Produce high-quality SDKs for a variety of programming languages (Rust, PHP, Ruby, Java, etc) to simplify integration for as many developers as possible
• Write easy-to-understand developer guides that accelerate onboarding for a variety of use cases
• Work with product managers, product marketing, and engineers to produce and maintain world-class documentation, including: User Guides, Integration Guides, API Developer Guides, In platform documentation (tooltips, welcome instructions, etc.).
• Build and maintain client aids that go beyond traditional documentation, such as online video, demos, guided tours, and other educational techniques.
• Learn complex concepts, and communicate the information in a way that is engaging and understood by users.
• Gather customer feedback on documentation to improve usability.
• Review existing technical content to eliminate inaccuracies and enhance readability
• Act as an editor to ensure consistency in documentation across all of our products

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience with TypeScript/NodeJS, REST APIs, and OpenAPI
• Bonus: SaaS/Technical writing experience
• Strong written and verbal communication and experience working with content in multiple mediums.
• Experience working cross-departmentally to communicate the nuts and bolts of a product.
• Strong experience owning an end-to-end documentation creation process.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $75,000.00-$80,000.00 per year Benefits:

Experience:

• Technical Writing: 2 years (preferred)
