Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Backend Developer, located in Doha, Qatar. Must be willing to spend a portion of the year in Doha, generally around fall and winter. The Backend Developer will focus on building and maintaining robust server-side systems using Golang. Core responsibilities include designing and implementing REST APIs, ensuring scalability and performance, and collaborating with other developers to deliver secure, reliable solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must be willing to relocate to Doha, Qatar

Strong proficiency in Golang and SQL Proven experience in designing and implementing REST APIs Experience with back-end frameworks and libraries (e.g., Gin, Echo) Solid understanding of software engineering principles and system architecture Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Nice to Have

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes) Familiarity with Agile methodologies Exposure to microservices architecture and distributed systems
