7+ years of experience in backend software development or engineering - utilizing Rust for Microservice development and Distributed Systems Strong understanding of dataflows: How data moves through systems. How it's stored in AWS S3 buckets. How downstream systems consume it. Proficient in Rust: Can debug and investigate issues. Can rewrite functions and make performance improvements. Ability to identify data breakdowns and past issue patterns. Solid grasp of microservices architecture and remote service debugging. Not an SRE but must be able to troubleshoot their own services. Can teach others effective troubleshooting techniques. Breakdown of responsibilities by %: 60-70% hands-on development 30-40% mentoring/leading projects
