Job Description

We are currently recruiting a couple back up/on call 24 hour Personal Support Worker to assist our client with personal care and assistance with all activities of daily living.

Location:

Surrey

Available Shifts:

Shift start time is 9am to 9am next day

Compensation:

$390 per 24 hours

Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:

Personal Care such as showering, dressing and washroom care (including catheter care) wound care and saline sponge bathing and packing to avoid wound tunneling Assisting with transfers Meal prep and light housekeeping duties Accompany on outings such as shopping, appointments etc via transit Assist individual with painting At night, temperature dysregulation and providing water to drink

Requirements:

Caregiving experience is required Drivers License an asset Good communication skills Experience with free standing lifts is a strong asset Must be fully vaccinated Comfortable working in an environment with cats and a large dog
