Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring adherence to established protocols and quality standards, while driving improvements in efficiency and service. Collaborate with the Kitchen Management team to develop shift schedules, allocate tasks, and optimize kitchen workflow to support smooth operations. Lead and manage the back-of-house team, including hiring, training, coaching, and mentoring, while fostering a collaborative and professional environment. Ensure that all food preparation meets high standards for quality and presentation, with a focus on maintaining consistency across all dishes. Participate actively in kitchen activities, including coordinating food production, managing line operations, and expediting orders to ensure seamless service. Manage inventory levels effectively, including ordering supplies, tracking stock usage, and implementing strategies to minimize waste and control costs. Conduct regular inspections of food safety and hygiene practices to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Assist in the implementation and execution of new recipes and menu items, ensuring that changes align with quality standards and enhance the guest experience. Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and a cohesive dining experience for our guests.

Qualifications:

1-2+ years of proven experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant setting, preferably in a supervisory or management role. Strong culinary skills with a solid understanding of kitchen operations, food preparation, and cooking techniques. Experience in leading and developing kitchen teams, with a focus on teamwork and effective management. Basic financial acumen, including managing inventory and understanding food costs. Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and quality. Passion for the culinary arts and a desire to create memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
