Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Babysitter/Nanny to help with 2 kids before and after school; kids are 8 and 4 years old. Days of the week will vary based on my husband's schedule (who is a shift worker) but we can provide the schedule for the month in advance. In the morning, we will need someone to help get them up, dressed, fed and on the school bus (that picks up at the end of our driveway). In the afternoon get them off the bus and prepare a snack until a parent comes home. Morning hours are 7-9, afternoon hours are 4- 5:30/6. Candidate must provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, ensuring their safety, and like to play. This role requires an individual who can manage daily routines while also being attentive to the unique needs of each child.

Bonus if the candidate is available some evenings to look after the kids, allowing my husband and I to go for a kid free supper once in a while

Responsibilities

Help children get ready for school (dress in weather appropriate clothes, brush teeth and pack backpacks) Prepare breakfast when needed and snacks after school.

Ability to connect with young children in a playful way.

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
