Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with infants, toddlers, and children of various ages, as well as a strong understanding of child development. This role requires someone who is patient, reliable, and able to engage children in educational and fun activities while ensuring their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities

Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities, including playtime, educational games, and outdoor activities. Prepare meals and snacks for children, ensuring dietary needs are met. Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, and diaper changing for infants and toddlers. Provide first aid when necessary and maintain a safe environment for children at all times. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise. Support children with disabilities through tailored activities that promote their development. Maintain cleanliness in play areas and ensure toys are sanitized regularly. Foster a positive learning environment by encouraging curiosity and exploration through teaching moments.

Requirements

Proven experience in childcare roles such as babysitting, nannying, or working in daycare settings. Strong understanding of child development principles and practices. Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred. Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus. Ability to provide care for infants and toddlers with patience and attentiveness. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both children and parents. A nurturing demeanor with the ability to create a supportive atmosphere for children's growth. Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the family or child care situation.
