We are seeking a dedicated and passionate LEVEL 2 or 3 Senior Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children, including those with disabilities. This role is pivotal in creating an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment that fosters learning and development for all students. As a Senior Educator, you will be responsible for implementing educational programs, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring that each child receives the highest quality of care and education.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging curriculum tailored to the needs of children, including those with disabilities.
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
Provide direct caregiving support to children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met.
Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to support each child's development.
Mentor and guide junior educators in best practices for early childhood education.
Conduct assessments to evaluate children's progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
Maintain accurate records of children's development and communicate effectively with families regarding their progress.
Foster a positive classroom culture that promotes respect, cooperation, and teamwork among students.
Requirements
Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience working with children in an educational setting.
Strong understanding of caregiving principles and early childhood development.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating leadership qualities.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for educating young learners.
Familiarity with classroom management techniques and educational best practices.
