Support in achieving business target for ABB BAS/Cylon. Build customer relationships, educate and engage new and existing ABB BAS/Cylon System integrators on our technical solutions. Identify and develop potential sales opportunities across the ABB portfolio.
Your responsibilities

  • The primary responsibility is to be the ABB/Cylon subject matter expert (SME) to new and existing System Integrator Partners and use your sales and technical skills to promote the use of ABB BAS /Cylon products in their business.
  • Support and development of sales, technical support, education, training, marketing and communication plans in conjunction with System Integrators and Sales Managers to drive results.
  • Increase the adoption of ABB BAS /Cylon product use in a new System Integrator. Drive the ABB/Cylon product sales objectives for the first 18 months.
  • Provide coaching and technical information to SI sales teams to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills in the assigned product lines.
  • Provide sales and technical start-ups for new and existing System Integrators as directed.
  • Provide product sales, estimating and technical training to the SI to enable sales and operations teams\' abilities to sell and deliver products to end-users.
  • Work with new System Integrators to visit local Consulting Engineers to help them to specify, design, engineer and price ABB/Cylon solutions.
  • Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product & systems/services offering, and align to provide a solution. Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process. With full acceptability for customer relations & experience.
  • Assist in preparing sales plans using company tools. Performs regular status reviews of product adoption and proposes recovery plan(s) in cases of potential new SI order shortfalls.
  • Ensuring full achievement of the agreed targets of ABB Building Solutions offering in the assigned System Integrators.
  • Creates added value for the customer and ABB/Cylon and ensures the successful adoption of ABB/Cylon Systems and Solutions.
  • Demand generation for customers & ABB by identifying potential solution sales opportunities and working with and coordinating the various stakeholders in the project/opportunity to ensure the acceptance of ABB solution offering.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to create and deliver impactful collateral / presentations / tools to demonstrate the value proposition of the product line.
  • Identify product enhancement opportunities, new product requirement potential and coordinate Product Management education.
  • Work with marketing to develop SI Feature Installation Case Studies.
  • Assists the ABB/Cylon sales organization to successfully achieve its goals, including Regional Sales Managers or other sales personnel.
  • Provides data tracking of leads and opportunities utilizing a CRM Platform.
  • Coordinates with influencers (building owners and operators, specifiers, public utilities, architects, engineers, designers, etc.) to maximize SI opportunities for the business.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to create and deliver impactful collateral and presentations to demonstrate the value proposition of the product line
  • Analyze BAS market in Canada, support in market penetration strategies, marketing and pricing strategies, and overall market intelligence exercises.
  • Manages administrative procedures in sales and technical processes, and supports project management, sales education and technical education activities when needed.
  • Assists SI\'s in Engineering and Design of systems and opportunities where new products and systems are utilized. Education of SI\'s on best practices for deployment and design of new hardware and software platforms.
Your background
  • Bachelor\'s degree or Technical diploma.
  • 7-10 years experience in design and marketing of HVAC control systems/ Building Automation.
  • Proven ability to demonstrate the Value of energy efficienty, building automation solutions in buildings (HVAC Control, Lighting Control, Access Control etc.).
  • Knowledge of BAS communication protocols such as BACNET, KNX, Modbus, TCP/IP etc.
  • Proven background in developing Training programs / onboarding programs for new customers.
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Ability to work cross functionally with marketing, product development and operations.
  • Ability to speak French is considered an asset.
