The successful candidate will have a combination of self-starter, technical and interpersonal skills, and work as part of a team to deliver a world-class customer experience.
Reporting to the B2B Direct Sales Manager, a successful B2B Sales Representative will work with the team to ensure the customer experiences a streamlined and positive experience. This key position is one of the primary points of contact for our clients and focuses on assisting our clients to navigate their service needs. The B2B Sales Representative ensures proper escalations as required and manages the client's technology needs and service expectations. By working closely with internal teams, the B2B Sales Representative will create a first-rate experience in all situations.
About the Job:
Build relationships with clients and team members and serve as a trusted point of contact.
Promote and sell Mobility Solutions, Managed IT services, and VoIP solutions. This also includes information technology offerings such as Smart home/business security solutions, vehicle & fleet tracking.
Meet with clients and internal Operations teams to understand IT objectives required by client partners.
Provide timely and thorough responses and guidance to client requests.
Advocate for your client during day-to-day operations, taking ownership of major incidents to ensure proper coordination of all relevant resources
Maintain a deep knowledge of technology products and services applicable to the client base, including hardware, software and GBS Technologies services.
Generating new business by following leads from Marketing, Social selling, direct sales, prospecting, and up to and including cold calling.
Strong analysis skills to interpret market data, customer needs, and competitive insights for strategic planning.
Proficiency in CRM platforms such as Salesforce for managing customer relationships and sales pipelines effectively.
2-5+ years of successful sales experience in the IT, or telecommunications industry
Excellent communication skills adapted to virtual types of sales.
Ability to think and act strategically, including navigation through all levels of a client or prospect organization.
Selecting and qualifying profitable opportunities
Demonstrated success managing both short and long-term selling cycles while effectively and consistently applying a multi-step selling process/methodology.
Evidence of selling and effectively managing customer relationships
Post-secondary education or equivalent experience; sales experience blended with new business development.
Confidence and desire to make a target number of cold calls. Self-motivated and goal-oriented attitude.
