B Pressure Welder

Job Description

NWP is currently recruiting for a full time permanent B Pressure Welder to join our vessel team. This position works 10 hour days, Monday to Thursday with opportunities for overtime.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure all work instructions are carried out as per Manager or Lead Hand's directives. Perform pressure welding duties safely, accurately and in a timely manner. Ensure all tolerances and specifications are met in welding fabrication. Demonstrate competency in GMAW, SMAW and MCAW Maintain assigned production goals and objectives. Ensure a neat and tidy work area. Ensure all company quality standards are adhered to.
Skills and Abilities

Sound foundation in the understanding of ASME Section VIII and B31.3 Ability to read and interpret related shop drawings Ability to interpret welding procedures Ability to provide exceptionally high quality of Welding, taking pride in your work Accountability Dedicated team player Conscientious Ability to pay attention to detail.
Qualifications

Current Alberta" "B Pressure Ticket Successfully pass pre-employment testing
