Kootenay Industries LTD is currently looking for day shift B-Pressure Welders for our SE Calgary Fabrication shop
Experience in a
Stainless Steel
is a mustQUALIFICATION AND EXPERIANCE
Must hold a valid Grade B Pressure Welder Certificate of Competency and must pass internal shop testing. 2+ years of experience in a fabrication shop required 2+ years of experience in stainless fabrication Self-motivated individuals, with strong attention to detail, who take pride in producing quality workmanship Ability to work independently or as part of a team efficiently, and safely in a fast-paced shop environment Good communication skills, both written and oral
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Read and interpret drawings Follow proper weld procedures Welding pressure vessels and piping in accordance with the applicable ASME code Operate overhead cranes Comply with Quality and Safety standards Be an active participant in the company's safety program
