Responsibilities

Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW, and Stick welding on various materials including sheet metal and pipe. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively. Fabricate components according to design specifications, ensuring high-quality standards. Conduct inspections of welds using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments. Operate cranes and forklifts for material handling as needed. Engage in rigging processes for lifting heavy materials safely. Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety guidelines. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality expectations.

Requirements

Proven experience in welding with knowledge of ASME codes & standards. Familiarity with construction site environments is preferred. Proficiency in using various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, Stick welding, soldering, plasma cutting, and pipe threading. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate press brake machines and perform machining tasks. Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations during fabrication processes. Experience with ductwork assembly and manufacturing processes is advantageous. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Pay: $35.00-$44.00 per hour
