The Azure Platform Engineer will work with two analytics teams and will be responsible for monitoring multiple queues and actioning items as required. As an Azure Platform Engineer candidates will require a deep understanding of Azure cloud architecture, services, and security.Responsibilities:

• Manage Azure resources and services, including virtual machines, networking, and storage.
• Implement and maintain Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters for container orchestration.
• Configure and manage Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) for group creation and secure access to Azure resources.
• Create and manage Service Principal Names (SPN) for application access to Azure services.
• Collaborate with data teams to integrate and optimize Databricks within the Azure environment.
• Automate cloud operations and deployment processes using Azure DevOps.
• Monitor cloud performance, cost, and security, and provide optimization recommendations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and infrastructure, ideally with Azure DevOps as well.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containerization technologies.
• Experience with RBAC, SPN, and cloud security best practices.
• Familiarity with Azure Databricks and big data solutions.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting languages.
• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Developer Associate) are preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Availabile to start immediately.
• Eligible to work in Canada.
