Mariner Innovations is seeking a DevOps Engineer with Azure experience to join our growing Infrastructure and Cloud Practice. In this role, you will be working with Mariner customers to deliver best of breed solutions.

This role is a Consultant position. The successful candidate will be well versed in all phases of the consulting cycle from pre-sales through the design and delivery. He/she will be comfortable presenting complex technical concepts at an appropriate level for a wide range of audiences (technical, management, and executive).

Responsibilities:

• Assist with development and strategy for branching and repo management.
• Assist with manual and automation pipelines for progressing code from development to production.
• Ensure security practices are established for secret and credential management as used by manual and automation pipelines.
• Optimize and speed-up release processes to deliver fast business value.
• Migrate development/test code to production (Manual and Automated)
• Design and documentation for foundation and associated deliverable artifacts.
• Create pipelines to automatically deploy and configure storage, databases, and other infrastructure assets for use by clients.
• Automate the deployment of cloud infrastructure (Azure).
• Assist technology PM with development of DevOps Culture.
• Help maintain and establish good branching/merge processes for a wide variety of projects (Azure Synapse, Application Code, etc.).

Qualifications

• Computer Engineering or Computer Science degree or relevant mix of education and work experience
• 3+ years' experience in DevOps role
• 1+ years' experience with Azure DevOps is mandatory
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Up to date knowledge on CI/CD Pipelines
• Experience within a consulting role is considered an asset
• Cloud certifications are considered an asset
