Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck DriverTeam to join Toyata dedicated auto parts runs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently while adhering to all regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate heavy equipment.
Duties
Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules anyone any issues encountered on the road. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving in various weather conditions.
Requirements
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required. Proven at least 1 year experience in commercial driving or heavy equipment operation is preferred. Familiarity with freight handling procedures and safety protocols. Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in automotive repair situations. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team. Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.
