Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage freight effectively. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining our reputation for reliability.

Duties

Operate commercial vehicles to transport freight to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transport. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations governing commercial driving. Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle readiness.

Experience

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License). Familiarity with freight handling procedures and heavy equipment operation. Knowledge of basic automotive repair is a plus, enabling quick resolutions to minor vehicle issues. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively while on the road. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
