Job Summary

We're looking for motivated drivers to join our open board team and average 2,500+ miles per week!. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all transportation regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of freight handling and the ability to operate heavy equipment, making it essential for candidates to possess a valid commercial driving license.

Duties

Safely operate trucks and transport freight to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklifts and other heavy equipment as necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transit. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse staff regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving in a safe manner. Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.

Skills

Proficient in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License). Experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment is preferred. Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and logistics operations. Basic automotive repair skills to address minor vehicle issues on the road. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
