Job Summary

We are seeking a professional AZ Truck Driver to operate container trucks in Ontario. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight across routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining compliance with all safety regulations. This role requires a skilled driver with experience in various types of freight transportation, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and other specialized equipment. Duties

Safely operate tractor-trailers and commercial trucks, including manual transmission vehicles, across designated routes in Ontario. Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks when necessary. Transport containers and freight via flatbed, refrigerated trailer, tanker, or dump truck as required. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for each trip. Follow route schedules and deliver freight promptly while adhering to all traffic laws and safety standards. Assist with securing loads to prevent damage during transit. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during routes.

Qualifications

Valid AZ driver's license with a clean driving record. Proven experience in truck driving, including route driving and freight delivery. Familiarity with operating various types of trucks such as flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. Experience with manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using forklifts or other equipment if necessary. Strong knowledge of safety procedures and compliance standards for commercial driving in Ontario. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and timeliness. Prior experience with tractor-trailers or container transport is highly desirable. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during long-haul routes or local deliveries.
