Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate heavy equipment. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the integrity of the freight.

Responsibilities

Operate trucks to transport freight across designated routes, ensuring timely delivery. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklifts and other heavy equipment as necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road. Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid AZ licence. Proficiency in operating forklifts and other heavy equipment. Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and logistics. Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on vehicles. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
