Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service, ensuring that freight is delivered on time and in excellent condition.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy-duty trucks to transport freight to various locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment as necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery receipts. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Adhere to all federal, state, and local driving regulations while on the road. Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure the truck is in good working condition.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License). Proficiency in operating forklifts and heavy equipment safely. Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and logistics. Basic knowledge of automotive repair techniques for minor vehicle maintenance. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
