Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of freight.

Duties

Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transport. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Ensure all cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit. Adhere to all company policies and government regulations related to transportation and safety.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required. Standard shift required.AZ license preferred Experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record preferred. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus. Knowledge of automotive repair is beneficial for minor vehicle maintenance tasks. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
