Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting Trailers safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This job is a cross border OTR position and will require you to be on the road Monday to Friday with resets at home. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and excellent customer service. In this role you will be delivering new trailers to dedicated locations. Drop the trailer and Bobtail back to pick up another trailer.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a commercial truck to transport freight to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption in accordance with company policies. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Perform minor automotive repairs and maintenance on the truck as necessary.

Qualifications

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required. Proven experience in commercial driving, with a strong understanding of freight transportation regulations. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices while on the road. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Ability to manage time effectively and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards in service delivery.
