Truck Driver with Flatbed experience.

MUST HAVE A CLEAN DRIVERS ABSTRACT AND CVOR.

MUST HAVE AT LEAST 3-5 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN DRIVING FLATBED

Duties

Operate commercial trucks in compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations. Transport freight to designated locations while ensuring timely delivery. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition. Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklifts and other heavy equipment as necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel use, and any incidents encountered during transport. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding route changes or delays. Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the vehicle as needed to ensure optimal performance.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Proficient in heavy equipment operation, including forklifts and other loading machinery. Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques for basic troubleshooting and maintenance tasks. Ability to handle freight safely and efficiently, ensuring proper loading techniques to prevent damage. Excellent time management skills with the ability to adhere to schedules while maintaining safety standards. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
