We are seeking a reliable and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves independently managing freight deliveries, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring timely, safe transportation of goods across dedicated routes. This position offers the opportunity for autonomous work with a focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism.

The successful Owner Operator will be responsible for running the following lanes:
Toronto leftrightarrow Montreal
Montreal leftrightarrow Toronto
Toronto leftrightarrow Ottawa
Ottawa leftrightarrow Toronto
Ottawa leftrightarrow Montreal
Equipment & Documentation Requirements
Trailer: You must have your own Dry Van or Reefer trailer.
Authority: You must have CVOR insurance or your own authority.
Vehicle: Must be maintained to safety standards and capable of heavy freight transport.
Responsibilities
Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across the designated Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal corridors.
Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams.
Perform minor troubleshooting to ensure vehicle readiness.
Adhere to all federal, provincial, and local transportation laws and safety standards.
Manage schedules to meet delivery deadlines while optimizing route efficiency.
Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience in commercial driving and freight transportation.
Proficiency in forklift operation and heavy equipment handling.
Knowledge of automotive basics for minor troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of safety procedures related to freight handling.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently.
Valid commercial driver's license (Class AZ/CDL) required.
This role is vital for ensuring the smooth flow of goods across our core routes while maintaining high safety and efficiency standards.
