Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves operating commercial vehicles to transport freight efficiently and safely across designated routes. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, knowledge of heavy equipment operation, and the ability to perform basic automotive repairs when necessary. As an Owner Operator Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely delivery and maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial trucks and heavy equipment to transport freight to various locations Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic automotive repairs to ensure vehicle safety and functionality Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage Adhere to all federal, state, and local transportation regulations and safety standards Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and potential issues Assist with warehouse operations, including freight handling and inventory management when required

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, or other industrial machinery is preferred Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshooting Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and compliance Proven experience in commercial driving or related roles is highly desirable Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various environments Must be physically capable of lifting heavy loads and performing manual tasks as needed Prior experience with freight logistics or warehouse operations is a plus

Pay: $87,732.72-$297,907.20 per year
