Job Description

Capital Yardworks is currently looking for a reliable and professional A, AR or AZ Driver to join our growing team. This role is essential in supporting our crews by transporting materials and equipment to job sites safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Operate trucks and trailers to transport landscape materials, equipment, and tools to various job sites around the Ottawa area.
Perform daily pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate driving logs
Load and unload materials (may involve use of equipment like skid steers or forklifts)
Follow safe driving practices and comply with all traffic laws and company policies
Communicate with site supervisors and crews to ensure timely deliveries

Requirements:
Valid A, AR or AZ Driver's License
Clean driving record and 3-year driver's abstract
Experience operating trucks with trailers (equipment, dump, flatbed, etc.)
Ability to safely load/unload and secure materials and equipment
Strong work ethic and reliability
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and under tight deadlines
Knowledge of Ottawa roads and construction site practices is an asset
