Truck Driver DOT - Class AZ Liquid Bulk

PDI is currently looking to fill a full-time Local job opportunity at our Guelph, ON terminal.

What you'll do as one of our Class AZ Liquid Bulk Truck Drivers:

Operating trucks safely and professionally to transport goods and materials over urban, short inter-urban, and rural routes. Maintaining records of pickup and deliveries and obtaining necessary signatures/receipts. Maintaining all required certifications in line with MTO, Health & Safety, and company policies. Accounting for all time and for all distance travelled in performing assigned duties. Ability to work in a variety of weather, temperature, and road conditions. Conducting routine pre/post-trip truck inspections and maintaining accurate records of delivery routes, logs, sheets, and incident reporting. Performing product delivery verification at the customer location via ISAAC. Following health and safety and safe work procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Driver's License (Class 1 or A) Air Brake (Z) Endorsement Manual transmission endorsement is an asset Commercial Vehicle Operator's Registration (CVOR) Certificate; MELT Manual Transmission is an Asset Able to cross border, operate PTO equipment FAST Card required; TWIC Card is an asset. 3 to 5 years' experience preferred, will train as needed! Weight Handling: More than 45kg (100lbs) Security and Safety: Must have a valid criminal record check, driving record check (abstract), and drug test. Loading and unloading of goods, use of ISAAC, receive and relay information to dispatcher. Professionalism in customer service. Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding.
