Transit Petroleum, along with its affiliate companies, Hogg Fuel & Supply Limited & Transit Lubricants, is an independently owned and operated distribution company located in Kitchener, Ontario. Through our fleet of trucks and plants in Waterloo Region, we supply various industries with petroleum products, including commercial fuel and lubricants, and ready-mix concrete. We are currently recruiting for full-time, AZ truck drivers, that have experience pulling B-trains, to pick up fuel at various terminals and deliver to our well-lit and spacious bulk terminal and commercial cardlock locations. This is a day shift opportunity.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Above all else, the safe transport of diesel and gasoline fuel products!

Loading fuel from terminals in the GTA/Hamilton/London and delivering to our facilities in and around Waterloo Region

Conducting circle checks and utilizing electronic log-books

Maintaining the vehicle in a clean and organized fashion

Working closely with dispatch to ensure efficient operations

Qualifications of the ideal candidate include:

Valid AZ commercial licence

Minimum of 5 years of safe commercial driving experience with a clean CVOR

Minimum of 2 years hauling bulk liquids via b-trains

CFA/CPPI certification and fuel terminal experience would be a tremendous asset

Willingness to learn on the job from other experienced Operators

Must be able to operate a manual transmission

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

Excellent written and oral communication skills, including computer acumen and basic mathematics abilities

Ability to interact with customers and maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times

Comfortable driving and working outdoors in all four seasons
