Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial vehicles following all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify any vehicle issues before and after each shift Maintain detailed logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance needs Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly Adhere to scheduled routes and delivery timelines while maintaining a positive attitude and professional demeanor Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents or damage during transportation

Skills

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for AZ routes Proven experience operating large trucks or commercial vehicles in a professional setting Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for commercial driving Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize deliveries efficiently Good communication skills for interacting with team members, clients, and dispatchers Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues Commitment to safety, punctuality, and delivering exceptional service
