Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving practices, as well as the ability to operate heavy equipment and perform basic automotive repairs when necessary. A commitment to safety and adherence to all traffic regulations is essential.
Duties
Safely operate vehicles to transport freight and materials to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transport. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Perform minor automotive repairs and maintenance on vehicles as required to ensure operational efficiency.
Requirements
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required. Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations. Ability to perform basic automotive repairs; familiarity with vehicle maintenance is a plus. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $7,000.00 per month
