We are currently seeking a reliable, skilled and safety-focused

AZ Driver

to join our waste and environmental services team. This role involves operating AZ-licensed vehicles to safely transport materials to and from customer sites and licensed disposal or processing facilities across Ontario.

The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, and experienced operating commercial vehicles in industrial or urban environments.

Responsibilities

Safely operate AZ-licensed equipment in compliance with Ontario regulations and company policies Plan and adjust routes using GPS and onboard systems to improve efficiency and reduce fuel use Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections; report defects and complete required paperwork Load, unload, tarp, and secure bulk/dump materials while maintaining proper axle weights Maximize load sizes safely and efficiently Use electronic logging devices (ELD) to record hours, distance, fuel, and cargo details Communicate with dispatch and address customer concerns professionally Clean and maintain truck and trailers, including sweeping trailers after unloading Climb in and out of equipment multiple times per shift and work on uneven ground at various facilities

Qualifications

Clean Driver's abstract Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles. 3 years AZ driving experience Knowledge of route planning and navigation. Excellent communication skills. Physically capable of performing job duties, including climbing in and out of trucks

Pay: $29.50 per hour
